The box has been removed and mounted on a rotiserrie.

The tailgate needs to be straightened. There is a bow along the bottom. Bolts are welded to the sheet metal and then pulled to bring the metal straight.

More smaller dents are pulled using weld-on studs.

The rear corner had significant dent that was repaired by cutting out the section, straightening it and welding it back in place.

The box was sand blasted inside and underneath as well as the edges.

Replacement patch panels for the box are fitted and welded in.

Second side same as the first.

Filler and primer applied.

Primed again and ready for block sanding.

The bottom of the box is painted semi-gloss black.

The box is ready for paint. This truck will be painted white with blue in the middle outlined with silver stripes. The white and gray groundcoat help the colors build up quicker with less coats of paint.

The silver is painted with one coat of clear to protect from any blow through of the additional colors. The orange fine line tape is where the silver stripes will be.

The blue is applied after masking the areas that will be white. The blue then gets masked and the white appied.

The paint is finished on the box.

The letters on the tailgate are painted and masked.

The frame is sandblasted as best as possible while in this state of disassembly.

The cab corners are replaced with new pieces.

The rad support is painted and accessories are detailed.

The box is set in place to align the masking of the silver stripes.

The cab and front fenders are painted, next will be the doors and hood.

The doors are painted.

The chassis is painted semi-gloss black.

DJM Suspension 2" drop shackles are installed to allow the truck to sit more level.

Everything is now being assembled.

Finished project.
