This is a complete metal work and paint job, although there is not much metal work to do as the owner has done most of it already.
The box has been removed and mounted on the rotisserie. After sandblasting attention will be on finishing the metal work.
Some metal was replaced on the box and heat shrinking in an area.
The box is in primer and bodyfiller is finished. The few dents in the bed of the box and fender wells were filled. This box will be getting a bedliner sprayed on so it doesn't have to be perfect.
The box is painted Calypso Coral, a factory color in 1971.
The letters on the tailgate are painted Wimbledon White. Vinyl masks are cut and applied before the orange is painted. After the orange is painted the masks are removed and everything is clearcoated.
